What kind of art does Tracey Lane create?

Tracey Lane is an Atlanta-based contemporary landscape painter known for atmospheric, layered acrylic paintings on wood panel. Her work explores forests, waterscapes, birds, and botanicals through an intuitive, textural process that combines heavy paint application with watery washes, scratching, and scraping to reveal depth and luminosity.

She holds an MA in Art History from Emory University.
